Tesla Xmas Yolo Update!

 Here is what options I bought, the dates, the totals...

Dec 3
1 Call @ $78.10 = $7,810

Dec 7
1 Call @ $50.00 = $5,000

Dec 7
2 Calls @ $36.35 = $7,270

Dec 9
1 Call @ $25.25  = $2,525


Total invested = $22,605
Current Portfolio = $18,882.56
Total Gain/Loss = $3,723 Loss 12/25


I had 3 that expired soon and when Tesla got added into the SP500 the price ended the day super high, but nobody could do much about it since it all happened after market hours and you would have guessed that on Monday everyone wanted to sell and take profit making the price go way down.

It has recovered back to $660 but that is still under the $685 - $695 that it was at and made it to. So to put it all on the table, I had to sell 3 of my options for a small loss that I rolled over into these two...

1/29 Call @ $92.00
2/19 Call @ $78.10


So next update will be when I chose to sell them both.
I might keep the 2/19 for a little longer but we will see.

What plays are you going to be making in 2021?
Tesla has made a lot of new millionaires just like Bitcoin did.
I just hope it's not too late to 4x my account with it.


I also plan to trade Spy spreads 2021 for weekly income.
My goal with that is for 6% income 3x per week.
That gives me a 90% odds to earn 18% weekly.
$5,000 funding for that will give me 50 Contracts.
That is $300 @ 3x Per week. $900 Total Income.

My Tesla Xmas Yolo!

 On 12-7-2020 this year, I decided that I want to have a great Christmas this year. It's already better than all my other Xmas years so far because this year I decided to learn how to trade stocks in the stock market. I started around 2-21-2020 with penny stocks with the only $100 that I could scrape up.

I've always loved to hustle and flip things. Like 2Pac said, "I'm tryin to make $1.00 from $0.15" and from a start of $25k when the 4 Options Calls where placed, I quickly learned that on the real short time frame calls, you gotta take profits pretty fast. Like if mid day on the next day your up 25% then you better take it. $1,000 to $1,250 in 1 day is great money, but as we all know we love to be greedy lol.

The 12-18 Call I had really costed me because I didn't sell it when I was up.

Here I should have taken the $36.25 but I chose to wait another day and wouldn't you know it the market gave me a down day and at the time of writing this for my 1st update on this...

So I would have been way better off if I could have caught it today 5-10 minutes after the market opened today as the strike price was at $52.10 but I over slept and I knew the price was going to go up because in the next few days lots of firms has to buy shares because of Tesla being added to SP500.

I planed for it to go up like that but it only lasted 5 minutes for some reason and kept falling closer and closer to break even for the day until the last hour where it dropped by a lot into being down to this...

That had me shook!

But like I was saying I still knew that shares still has to be bought and idk if it happens after hours today as it's Friday and the market wont be open until Monday morning. I think the big huge firms gets to buy in the Pre-Market giving them a huge advantage being able to buy/sell before everyone else.

Also with Options... There is a thing called Triple Witching!

Nothing is 100% clear but from what I can tell, If the market is green Monday and the price goes up around 4% like it likes to on normal days, being at $675 - $680 now, then the price should be somewhere around breaking the $700 mark and I think that is where I want to get out for the TWO 12-31 calls, and the One 1-8 call. That will be my Christmas gift to myself as if it happens as I'm thinking now then I should break $33,339.99 record of my all time high so far.

I want to hold on to the 2/19 one until around Valentines Day and see where the price goes from there. If it's at $800 then I will be very very happy with it. I think that I want to use the funds from the other 3 options to buy dividend paying stocks and that will be the next thing that I write about after the next post that I have in mind. A preview of that is the idea of buying your kids monthly paying dividend stocks instead of the new PS5 for Xmas.

How I made $1,260 from less than $1.00

Today was a great day for me in the market. It started off being around $900 down and I was like here we go with the 2-3 red days a week that has kind been going on for the last 2 or 3 months now.

Around a hour or so into our trading day SnapChat goes from a strike price of $4.80 and me trying to pickup like 6 more contracts to me missing that because I couldn't get in it in time. I so wish that I could have because from there in the next 4 to 5 hours it ran up from $43.77  to  $47.62  and had me sittin here lookin like this...

I learned my lesson last week with this stock. It ain't Team Take Profits for nothin over here. What happened last week was the strike price went to $6.25 and never any higher that day and I didn't take profits trying to be greedy. Passed on that little over $1,100 that day and maybe I could be here today waiting on the chance to get back in with a cheaper strike price. I wish I had a $4.75 strike that I'm sure I seen last week waiting on it to go back up again. Lesson learned. Could be up $1,500 more than I am now if it all played out like that.

This is the whole trade from Nov 6th, 2020 to Dec 2nd, 2020. So 26 days to make $1,260 and this teaches you that you have to give your trade time to be right. I knew Snap would go up and bought a $48 Call that had until 4/16/2021 to move that $0.90 and my advice on when to take profit is to know when you get in the trade that you want to get in at "X" price and sell at "X" price. 

These are prices that the stock has been at before. Pick a level that is cheap to get into when the price is down, and know that you want to earn lets say $1.00 in premium. Try to stick to levels close to it and take profit and don't just sit on it and let it pass when its at $0.90 premium profits. 

I'm sure I sold earlier today than collecting all of the $3.85 move that Snap had today. Yeah I left $0.45 on the table since the strike price of the same option is at $6.75 after hours. Thats $630 but always remember that its easy to trade looking back on what I shoulda, coulda, woulda done. Always take profit, be happy with it, move on to the next trade and be smart about it all.

How I made $200 Today in a single hour!

 Today was like every other day. 

I woke up, checked to see how my stocks where doing and then it came to me...

I had just bought a brand new safe that had been delivered that morning. 

Thinking about the $150 I had just spent, I knew that I needed to try and make that money back.

So I took a look at good ol Apple stock. It just got some good news yesterday and was continuing its upward trend today. I new that if I could catch around $0.30 to $0.50 of premium that I could easily pay for what I got today and maybe even profit from it.

 

So I jumped in at $5.70 per contract. I bought 5 of them. Each contract gives me the option to buy 100 shares at the strike price I chose. Each comes with a different cost of premium. I bought the $122 strike price. That is called ATM because it's "At The Money" since Apple was trading for $122 a share today. If you want a easy guide on how this works Click Here.

So after I jumped in, I walked into the kitchen and made me a cup of $0.20 iced coffee with some french vanilla creamer! OMG so GOOD :)

I think that might be why I have so many more good days than down days! ;)

 

So I then go to check around for some good deals on some stock options as I do daily. My advice is to make a list of them. You can do that by clicking here: Join Robinhood!

Don't go overboard. You want like a top 20 stocks and a Top 10-15 up and coming stocks that are around $10 - $50 stock price. If you want my current list and how I work it, you can watch my Youtube Video on that.

By now it's been about a hour and I check in and see that my Apple options are at $6.05 so I quickly set Robinhood to sell at $6.10 since most options buy and sell at $0.05 intervals. Around 5 minutes later I get an alert on my phone saying I sold 5 Apple Contracts! :)
